To get started using a Mac or Windows PC with your INSTRUMENT 1, follow along with our Quickstart Guide below.
Connect the INSTRUMENT 1 to your computer using the included USB to mini-USB cable.
Turn the INSTRUMENT 1 on.
If the light doesn’t glow green when powered on, connect your instrument to a power source using the included 12V power supply.
How to assemble your power supply:
A fully charged battery will last up to six hours.
Open any music-making app that supports MIDI and has software instruments.
For example, GarageBand, Logic, Cubase, Ableton Live, and BitWig Studio work right out of the box with the INSTRUMENT 1.
To use the speakers on the INSTRUMENT 1, navigate to “Preferences” in the software of your choice and select INSTRUMENT 1 in your Audio/MIDI preferences.
