HOW DO I PLAY?

Scan everyday objects to transform them into musical stickers. You can scan almost anything: fruit, pets, friends, cars, and more. While Scan is finding your object, the lens will cycle through random stickers so you can jump right in.

PLACE
Place the stickers around your space, and add more stickers by pressing "Scan" again. You can even change sounds or move stickers by pressing on them to bring up a menu.

Make music by reaching out in front of the camera or tapping directly on your screen. All of your instruments will progress through different notes automatically with every touch, so you’ll always be in tune. Hint: the second sticker is a drum beat that loops!

WHY WE MADE A SNAPCHAT LENS
At Artiphon, we want to inspire everyone to be creative in the nooks and crannies of their days. We believe AR Music is such a powerful idea, enabling anyone to add a dash of sound to everyday life. With Scan Band, we set out to turn objects around us into delightful musical instruments that you could play anywhere you go.
Scan Band is just the beginning of a bouquet of interactive musical experiences we’re designing as part of the Artiphon ecosystem. Scan Band was built using the latest AR and ML technologies, and it debuted at the Snap Partner Summit in May 2021.
